Reddit Owl finds the Reddit threads worth answering, and you choose which one

Reddit marketing works when you help first. Reddit Owl searches real Reddit threads for people asking about what you do, lets you pick the conversation, and drafts one genuinely useful reply for you to post yourself.

Four steps, and the third one is yours

Code does the searching and filtering. You make the call on where to speak. AI writes only the final reply.

  1. Code + one small AI call

    Reads your site

Up to five keywords from your website, plus suggested subreddits to search in.

  2. Code

    Finds real threads

Searches public Reddit post archives, keeps only posts that match at least two words of a keyword, and removes duplicates.

  3. You

    Pick the conversation

Open any thread on Reddit, read the mood of the room, and choose the one where you can genuinely help.

  4. One AI call + code checks

    Draft one reply

A short, specific answer to that thread, then checked and cleaned by rules before you see it.

Exactly what the reply is written from

The model is given a small, fixed window on purpose, so the reply answers the thread and not your sales page.

Keeping the context tight is what stops Reddit replies sounding like ads. The draft responds to what people in that thread actually said.

Sent with the request

  • The post, up to 1,200 characters
  • Up to six top comments, up to 320 characters each
  • Your product name and one sentence about it, up to 220 characters

Not sent

  • Your website pages
  • Unrelated comments
  • Anything about other threads

Cleaned before you read it

The reply passes through plain code checks. Nothing is regenerated behind your back; changes are reported.

Links removed

A first reply that pushes a URL gets ignored or removed. Any link in the draft is taken out.

Kept short

An over-long draft is trimmed at the end of a sentence, never mid-thought.

No dashes

Long dashes are swapped out, one of the tells people associate with machine-written text.

No leftovers

Any stray instruction text from the request is removed before you see the reply.

Posting Reddit replies that people upvote

Reddit Owl leaves the posting to you because this part needs judgment. A short checklist for each reply:

  1. Read the subreddit's rules first. Many ban self-promotion outright or allow it only in set threads.
  2. Answer the question before anything else. If the reply would still help without your product in it, it belongs.
  3. Say who you are. If you mention your own product, say you work on it.
  4. Skip threads where you'd only be advertising. Not every match is a conversation you should join.
  5. Come back for replies. A follow-up answer often does more than the first comment.

Reddit Owl, briefly answered

Does Reddit Owl post on Reddit for me?

No, never. It drafts the reply and links you to the real thread; you post it from your own Reddit account. That keeps every comment human-reviewed and under your name, which is what Reddit communities expect.

How does it find the right threads?

It turns your website into up to five keywords, adds suggested subreddits, and searches public archives of Reddit posts. A thread is only shown if at least two words of a keyword actually appear in it, so loosely related posts are filtered out.

How much of my site does the AI see?

Almost none. The reply is written from the thread itself, up to six of its top comments, and the one sentence you write about your product. Your website text isn't sent with it.

Will the reply include a link to my site?

No. Any link the draft contains is removed automatically. On Reddit, a useful answer earns more trust than a link, and you can always add one yourself where a subreddit allows it.

How many AI calls does a run use?

Two small ones: one to suggest keywords and subreddits from your site, and one to write the reply. Finding, filtering and checking are all done by plain code.

Can I see what it changed in the draft?

Yes. If the checks strip a link, remove a dash or trim a long reply at a sentence end, the change is reported with the draft.
