Knowledge Base: the brand knowledge base your CMO Owls agents read from

Two short documents describe your product and your tone. They're written from real data about your brand, and the agents that write and design for you use them, so what you publish sounds like one company.

The two documents, and who uses them

Each document shows a "Used by" line in your dashboard, so you can see exactly where it matters.

Document

Product Information

What you sell, who it's for and what sets you apart, written as one page from your brand profile.

Used by roadmap headlines for Medium, X and LinkedIn, and Buzz Creator Owl articles

Document

Design Guide

Your tone and creative direction: voice, typical calls to action and how you sound on social, drawn from your brand voice.

Used by images made by Owlthor and Buzz Creator Owl, and Owl Cam videos

Written from real data, or not at all

A brand document that guesses is worse than none, because every agent would repeat the guess.

So each document is produced by one short AI call that may only use the brand data already gathered for your account. A brand-new account starts with an empty Knowledge Base; the documents appear once there's something true to write.

  • One page per document
  • Built only from your existing brand data
  • Appears only when that data exists
  • Kept for 90 days per account
  • No invented colours, fonts or facts

What the product information and tone guide leave out

Being clear about the gaps stops anyone relying on something that isn't there.

Visual identity

No colour palette or typography: that data isn't collected yet, so the guide doesn't pretend to have it.

Competitor and strategy reports

These now live in the Reports tab, built from your latest audit by Spy Owl and the recommended strategy.

Knowledge Base FAQ

What is in the Knowledge Base?

Two short documents about your brand: Product Information, describing what you sell and who it's for, and a Design Guide with your tone and creative direction. Each one lists the agents that read it.

Where do the documents come from?

From data CMO Owls has already gathered about your brand, such as your brand profile and brand voice. Each document is written once, in one page, from that data only. If the data doesn't exist yet, the document doesn't appear rather than being padded out.

Does the Design Guide include my colours and fonts?

No. CMO Owls doesn't collect colour or typography data yet, so the guide covers tone and creative direction only and deliberately doesn't invent a palette.

How often are they updated?

Each document is kept for 90 days, then rebuilt from the latest brand data the next time it's needed.

Where did the competitor and strategy documents go?

They moved to the Reports tab, where the Spy Owl competitor report and the recommended strategy report are built from your latest audit, so the Knowledge Base no longer keeps separate copies.

Why does a brand knowledge base matter?

It keeps the agents that write and design for you describing you the same way. Roadmap headlines, brand articles, generated images and UGC videos all start from the same two pages instead of each guessing your brand separately.
